Sangat Island Dive Resort - Scuba Diving Destination near Francisco B. Reyes

Sangat Island Dive Resort occupies a major portion of the southwestern cusp of Sangat Island. Located 40 km from Francisco B. Reyes, the resort features a beachfront restaurant and two bars serving regional and international dishes, and a scuba diving center. Guests have access to a 300-meter white sand beachfront, a geothermal hot spring, and dive sites with World War II wrecks. The resort operates off the public electricity grid, using solar power with diesel generators as backup. Transport options include sea kayaks.

Sangat Island Dive Resort features 22 native-styled accommodations: beachfront chalets, hillside chalets, hilltop chalets and the Lambingan Villa with a private beach. Rooms are constructed from local materials including hand-woven bamboo wall panels, split-bamboo flooring, and Nipa Palm roofing. Accommodations have mosquito-netted windows, ceiling fans, 220-volt electrical outlets, and wet-room style bathrooms. Some chalets have air conditioning and hot water.
